Axial Industrial Thermometers are direct sensing instruments. They are hermetically sealed and therefore, completely waterproof. For accurate readings, the stem should be immersed at a minimum 2.5” (63 mm) in the media. All Bi-metal thermometers are made of stainless steel to protect against corrosive conditions. An external adjustment screw is conveniently located on the back of each case for field recalibration
